Professional Experience

Dennis Cuneo was formerly senior vice president of Toyota Motor North America, where he was in charge of accounting, corporate advertising, corporate communications, human resources, investor relations, industry & government
relations, information systems, legal, strategic planning, and the Latin American research group. He also served as the company's corporate secretary and chief environmental officer, and was its chief spokesperson.

After retiring from Toyota in October 2006, he formed DC Strategic Advisors, LLC.
He now serves as a senior advisor to Toyota and other global corporations.  He was recently named Partner of Fisher & Phillips, a leading national labor and employment law firm and will lead its newly opened Washington, D.C. office.

As one of Toyota's earliest American executives, Dennis played a key role in the
launch of the company's manufacturing operations in the United States. He was part
of the start-up team for Toyota's first assembly plant in America. In 1996, he was named as vice president of Toyota's newly created North American manufacturing headquarters in Northern Kentucky.

He was promoted to senior vice president in 2001, and played a key role in developing and implementing Toyota's strategy to increase its manufacturing footprint in North America. He led site selection for Toyota and several of its affiliated companies, which included over 20 new facilities and expansions throughout North America with a cumulative investment of over $9 billion.

In 2003, he was named as senior vice president of Toyota Motor North America in Manhattan, the holding company for Toyota's North American operations, where he was the ranking American executive. He held that position until he retired from Toyota in late 2006.   Prior to joining Toyota, Dennis was an attorney with Arent Fox and a
trial attorney in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
